Resort is old however could use an update. Dirty looking. Room was odd. Furniture in rooms that look like they belong in a third world B grade hotel. My night stand for one side of the king bed (does not fit in room) was in the closet. The TV was so large in the bedrooms m it covered the dresser mirror. The kitchen area has a small pea size tv. Walls were not clean. Bathroom was dirty with sand on floor from previous guests. Balcony was dirty, I had to clean it off in order to use it. Hotel front desk was rude on check in. Not knowledgeable to travellers using credit cards on apple wallet rather than plastic. Argumentative and belittling. Only great thing about this resort is the location, view and restaurant.

Excellent experience, room was neat and clean, beds were so cozy. Good products in washrooms. good air conditioning service. Staff was very helpful. Excellent view from window.

This was my first time staying in Gimli. Overall it was a very enjoyable mini vacation. Staff was friendly, facilities were clean and the food was on par. Booking through a third party was probably not the best choice as I think it limited some choices for us in the room we received. We were in a junior suite next to the exit door and had noisy neighbors above. The walls and ceiling are thin. The tub floor was making cracking noises when walked on during showering which was a little unnerving but the water pressure was good. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed time on our balcony. The little shops at the hotel were clean and the staff very friendly. Robin's Doughnuts attached to the hotel was a nice addition. We are planning to return next summer.

The vacation suites at Lakeview are wonderful. We had a one bedroom with a kitchen, huge balcony. Great service!

We had a really nice stay at the Lakeview, it was our first time in Gimli. The folks at the front counter allowed us to check in early and late with no hassles, we are very thankful. This hotel is very clean and safe, however it is clearly overdue for a full renovation, with worn looking drapes and furniture and bathroom fixtures. The beds were comfy with newer looking sheets and a bedspread. We spent some time playing crib on the nice balcony. Bring bottles of water as the tap water has a funny taste. The indoor and outdoor pool were nice! We would stay here again!

Rooms were clean and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. We found that front desk staff seemed indifferent and were not very helpful. Outdoor pool was closed throughout our stay which blocked off access to outdoor seating area which was unfortunate.

We enjoyed the view of the lake. The rooms were well kept and we liked that there were 2 bathrooms for our use instead of just one.

Nice relaxing trip with my son, the races were canceled but the hotel was great with the Gimli glider exhibit and simulator, pool sauna hot tub, lakeside restaurant and shopping. The hotel is in the middle of town and lots to do within walking distance.
